2026 Tour de France Femmes: day-by-day coverage of the stages at the heart of the race with St Michel–Preference Home–Auber93
From the start in Lausanne to the finish in Nice, every stage of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes with Zwift will be covered for you each day. They have already produced a wide variety of scenarios. Sprints, heat, long-distance breakaways, time trials and the first major battle between the favourites: St Michel–Preference Home–Auber93 has now fully embraced its Tour.
To tackle these terrains and race paces, the team can rely on two complementary Mavic wheelsets: the COMETE 50 and the COSMIC SLR 45.
Stage 1 — Lausanne: Émilie Morier breaks straight into the Top 20
The Tour kicks off in Switzerland with a 138-kilometre stage around Lausanne and a demanding finish. Lorena Wiebes wins after an uphill sprint and claims the first yellow jersey.
Behind the favourites, Émilie Morier made a solid start by finishing 19th, just 16 seconds behind the winner.
This first result immediately puts the Frenchwoman in contention with the best and gets the Tour de St Michel–Preference Home–Auber93 off to a flying start.
Stage 2 — Aigle > Geneva: staying in contention
The following day, a 147.9-kilometre stage ran from Aigle to Geneva. Despite several attacks, the race was once again decided in a sprint, with Lorena Wiebes claiming victory for the second day running.
Émilie Morier finished 32nd, in the same time as the winner.
On a fast stage where positioning becomes crucial as the finish approaches, the team continues its collective effort and maintains its ambitions ahead of stages with a profile more favourable to attacks.
Stage 3 — Geneva > Poligny: Solène Muller makes her mark
At 156.5 kilometres, the third stage changes the tone.
Norwegian Sigrid Haugset pulled off one of the standout performances of the early stages of the Tour by winning after a long solo breakaway.
But on the Col de la Savine, another rider made her mark: Solène Muller crossed the summit in third place, behind Haugset and Puck Pieterse, and scored her first points in the mountains classification.
At just 22 years old and competing in her first Tour de France Femmes, the Frenchwoman is showing that she hasn’t come just to get a feel for the race.
In the chasing group, Émilie Morier finished 22nd on the stage, confirming her consistent form since Lausanne.
Stage 4 — 21-kilometre time trial
After three days in the peloton, it was time for a completely different challenge: a 21-kilometre solo time trial between Gevrey-Chambertin and Dijon.
World champion Marlen Reusser dominated the race in 27’30” and took the lead in the general classification.
At St Michel–Preference Home–Auber93, the gaps are minuscule: Solène Muller completed the course in 30’15”, Émilie Morier in 30’16”. Just one second separates the two French riders.
A detail that perfectly illustrates what the time trial is all about: an effort where every line taken, every acceleration and every second counts.
Stage 5 — The Beaujolais region sees the first major gaps emerge
From Mâcon to Belleville-en-Beaujolais, the fifth stage takes the Tour into a new dimension. The hilly terrain makes the race tougher and the main favourites go on the offensive.
Demi Vollering takes the win ahead of Marlen Reusser and Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney.
On a day when the peloton broke up, Émilie Morier finished 25th. This marks her third Top 25 finish since the start, following her 19th and 22nd places in stages 1 and 3.
It was a tougher day for India Grangier, who was forced to withdraw, the first rider from the team to leave the 2026 Tour.
Five stages, five scenarios
After five days of racing, St Michel–Preference Home–Auber93 has already experienced almost every aspect of top-level cycling: sprints, positioning, climbs, breakaways, time trials and the first major battles in the mountains.
Émilie Morier brings her consistency, Solène Muller demonstrates the daring of the new generation and, around them, the team is pursuing a single goal: to be in contention in the race and seize opportunities as they arise.
And the Tour is still far from over.
