For 137 years, Mavic has never stopped moving forward.
As early as 1973, the brand launched its first programme dedicated to aerodynamics, unveiled the lenticular wheel and created neutral technical support, becoming a key player in professional cycling.
Major milestones, such as the victory ofGreg LeMond in the 1989 Tour de France wearing full Mavic kit, confirmed this momentum, which was further cemented by thefirst 100% tubeless-ready carbon wheel (2016)and the adoption ofcarbon shoes by the peloton leaders in 2017.
In 2023, Mavic takes a new step forward with the X-Tend motor platform, backed by 15 families of patents, and is preparingthe next generation of 32-inch platforms, accompanied by technologies currently under development, designed toset new standards in performance and integration.
