For 137 years, Mavic has never stopped moving forward.
As early as 1973, the brand launched its first programme dedicated to aerodynamics, unveiled the lenticular wheel and established neutral technical support, becoming a key player in professional cycling.
Major milestones, such as the victory ofGreg LeMond’s victory in the 1989 Tour de France whilst wearing a full Mavic kit, confirmed this momentum, which was further cemented by thefirst 100 % tubeless-ready carbon wheel (2016)and the adoption of carbon shoes by the peloton’s leaders in 2017.
In 2023, Mavic took another step forward with the X‑Tend motor platform, backed by 15 patent families, and is now preparingthe next generation of 32-inch platforms, accompanied by technologies currently under development, designed toset new standards in performance and integration.
