During the time trial at the 2026 French Road Championships, Heïdi Gaugain put in a top-class performance, taking 2nd place in the amateur classification. This performance was all the more remarkable given that she also clocked the 7th fastest time in the overall classification, placing her amongst the best French professional riders.
On a demanding course of nearly 30 kilometres between Aosta and La Tour-du-Pin, Heïdi managed her effort perfectly to clock the 2ᵉ fastest time among the amateurs.
Her 7th place in the overall standings confirms her ability to compete with the best in her discipline
Finishing in the top 10 of the overall standings is a superb achievement, which demonstrates her progress and potential. Thissilver medalis a fine reward for all the hard work she has put in in the run-up to the French Junior Championships.
