Lucy Harris claimed her biggest victory to date at the prestigious ANEXO CAMS Women's CiCLE Classic in Melton Mowbray, giving the Smurfit Westrock team their third consecutive win this season. On a demanding 105 km course, Harris took a solo victory after a decisive attack in the final kilometers.
The team shone throughout the day, with Lucy Gadd winning the Queen of the Mountains title and Jo Tindley taking the Heart of Owston sprint. In the finale, Harris first formed a duo with Holly Ramsey before flying solo to victory.
The new Mavic Cosmic SL 45 23mm wheels demonstrated their effectiveness on this mixed terrain combining asphalt and gravel sectors. Their versatility allowed Harris to make the difference when the race intensified.
With this victory and Tindley's 7th place, Smurfit Westrock also finished 2nd in the team classification, confirming their excellent collective form at the start of the season.
