Annecy University Institute of Technology crowned 2025 world champion in human-powered speed
Every year, the HPV (Human Power Vehicle) World Championships are held.
They are organised by the International Human Powered Vehicle Association (IHPVA), which supports human-powered vehicle competitions and aims to recognise and maintain records in order to encourage and promote progress in the field of human-powered technologies.
This year, it was held in Battle Mountain, Nevada, USA.
The Annecy University Institute of Technology competed with its streamlined bicycle and won three titles:
- 2025 World Champion in human-powered speed with a speed of 141.73 km/h achieved by François Pervis riding Altaïr 7, the Annecy University Institute of Technology's streamlined bicycle.
