Terms and conditions of use for ‘reviews’

These terms and conditions govern your use of the ‘Customer reviews’ service offered on the website www.mavic.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”), published by Mavic Group SAS (hereinafter referred to as ‘Mavic’).

1. User declarations

By submitting content (review or question/answer) via this Service, you declare and warrant that:

• You are the sole author of the content submitted and the owner of all intellectual property rights relating thereto.
• You have voluntarily waived all moral rights relating to this content.
• The content submitted is accurate and faithfully reflects your personal experience with the product or service being reviewed.
• You are at least 18 years of age.
• Mavic's use of the content does not infringe any third-party rights or any applicable law.
• You have actually purchased or used the product or service in question, and your contribution reflects your own experience.

 

2. User commitments

You agree not to post any content:

• That you know to be false, misleading, untruthful or inaccurate;
• That infringes the intellectual property rights (copyright, patents, trademarks, trade secrets) or other rights (privacy, image rights, etc.) of a third party;
• In violation of any applicable law or regulation (including consumer protection, advertising, competition, etc.);
• Defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, hateful, or otherwise objectionable;
• For which you have been compensated or received any benefit from an unauthorised third party;
• Containing links to other websites, email addresses, telephone numbers or contact information;
• Containing viruses, malware or any files that may harm computer security.

 

3. Liability and indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mavic, its affiliates, partners, technical service providers, and their respective officers, employees, and agents from any claim or damage (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of the above representations or your violation of the rights of any third party or applicable law.

 

4. Rights granted to Mavic

By submitting content, you grant Mavic a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, free, transferable and assignable licence to use, copy, modify, adapt, publish, translate, exploit, create derivative works from, distribute or incorporate such content in any medium, by any means now known or in the future, without compensation to you.

 

5. Moderation and publication

Mavic reserves the right, at its sole discretion:

• To refuse to publish any content that does not comply with these terms and conditions;
• To modify, condense or delete any content deemed inappropriate or non-compliant;
• Not to guarantee the right to modify or delete content once it has been submitted.

Opinions and comments are generally published within 2 to 4 working days, subject to validation. Mavic may, within the limits provided by law, remove any content that has already been published at any time.

 

6. Confidentiality

Contributions are not subject to any confidentiality obligation. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the content you submit. Mavic, its service providers and partners cannot be held responsible for the public use of your contribution.
