Drawing on their century of expertise, Mavic engineers have developed an aluminium wheel that combines the graphic codes of legendary wheels with the latest technologies.
The result is a pair of Mavic Ksyrium SL Heritage wheels with a stunning neo-retro look and incredible performance for your rides.
The wheelset weighs only 1480g in the rim brake version and 1575g in the disc brake version.
The rim is made from 80% recycled 6351-T56 aluminium and its profile has been designed to provide high lateral stiffness while ensuring vertical flexibility for greater comfort. It has also undergone ISM4D machining to vary the thickness of the material according to the stresses endured, resulting in a weight of only 430g.
Mavic Ksyrium SL Heritage wheels feature machined Infiniti hubs for high performance and attention to detail, including patented spoke attachment to ensure perfect spoke tension consistency.
The freehub body is equipped with Mavic's patented ID360 technology. It improves the transmission of power from the pedal to the wheel. What's more, it is extremely easy to maintain and requires no tools.
The aero spokes are designed to minimise air resistance while offering good rigidity. The spokes are attached to the rim using FORE technology, a unique Mavic patent, which consists of screwing the spoke head directly into the rim. This reinforces the wheel's strength and allows the rim to be 100% airtight without a rim tape (and therefore without additional weight), while greatly facilitating the installation of tubeless tyres. Replacing spokes is also easier since they are all the same length and can be replaced without removing the tyre.
This pair of wheels will give your bike a unique look, whether it has disc brakes or rim brakes.
Note that this special Heritage series features one of Mavic's historic logos. This logo was used in the 1920s and 1930s, symbolising the heritage of the brand, which was founded in 1889.

Instant Drive 360 is a freewheel system designed and developed by Mavic.
Rigid and durable, its dual-ratchet mechanism ensures faster engagement, giving riders more direct acceleration and maximum power transfer with every pedal stroke.
The ID360 is also designed to be compatible with all existing freewheel bodies.

Lighter and designed to maximise your performance, our Infinity hub optimises the lateral stiffness of the wheel and ensures more consistent spoke tension.
It features a spoke attachment system that makes replacement much easier: it is no longer necessary to remove the disc or cassette from the wheel.
The QRM Auto system ensures long-lasting smoothness of the bearings, without human intervention or special maintenance.
