Wider rims increase the air volume inside the tyres. This enables to ride at lower pressure, offering more comfort, more grip and more traction.
22mm rims accept both road and gravel tyres from 28mm up to 64mm wide.

With 24 spokes front and rear, Access RG22 has a similar construction to more pricy Mavic wheels. It offers a combination of stiffness, comfort and reliability. Using standard J-bent spokes makes it easy to find a replaceent one in the (unlikely) case of a spoke breaking. Less worries !
