When assistance increases torque, the wheel must remain intact
On an eMTB, the wheel takes everything: harder accelerations, high speeds, heavier pressure and, above all, a motor that increases torque, putting the spokes, hub flanges and rim to the test. Our approach is simple: an eMTB wheel must remain precise when you load the front, stable when you apply torque coming out of a turn, and reliable when the terrain becomes rough.

30 mm internal width: better tire grip, more precise steering
On eMTBs, rim width is a real control lever. A 30 mm internal rim stabilizes the tires better, provides more support when leaning, and gives sharper steering in rough terrain. The result: you can ride "calmly" without the casing deforming excessively in corners.
e-Crosstrail Carbon: reducing inertia, maintaining precision
For those who want a lively and precise eMTB, the e-Crosstrail Carbon focuses on three areas:
- Lightweight and durable carbon rim: reduced inertia, more responsive feel when accelerating and changing pace.
- Vertical flexibility: better reading of the terrain and more control when it gets bumpy, without losing support.
- Infinity hub (28 spokes): high lateral stiffness to stay on track, especially when you're applying torque.
- 30 mm internal width: rigidity and precision when cornering, better tire grip.
Transmission and reliability are based on ID360, Infinity hub, and QRM Auto bearings.
e-Deemax S: take the hits, protect, and get back on track
The e-Deemax S is designed for demanding use: impacts, rocks, hard landings, and often heavy bikes. It features some very practical "workshop" choices:
- PFP (Pinch Flat Protection): reduces the risk of pinch flats/punctures when riding hard on rough terrain.
- FORE: fewer holes = stronger rim profile; advantage in the field: access to spokes from the outside depending on assembly, practical for repairs.
- Reinforced hub approved for up to 180 kg (total weight): designed for e-bikes + equipment, without compromising on reliability.
- Maxtal + welded rim + ISM4D: strength where it counts, optimized weight where it's useful.
- Black Shield: extra protection against impacts and scratches.
- Infinity / ID360 + QRM Auto: durable and reliable bearings.
Consider a mullet setup.
And for riders who like to mix stability and agility: mullet setup possible depending on your frame configuration.
Two eMTB visions, one set of specifications
- e-Crosstrail Carbon: dynamic, precise eMTB, performance and control.
- e-Deemax S: committed eMTB, prioritizing strength/reliability, protection and peace of mind on rough terrain.
An e-MTB means more torque, more speed... and often more weight (bike + equipment + rider). As a result, the wheels work harder, especially the rear ones. In the workshop, the same questions always come up: what rim width is needed to hold a modern tire, what tubeless pressure is needed for grip without damage, 29/27.5/mullet, and what to carry for repairs in the field. The following tips are designed for one thing: to keep your bike precise and reliable... and to ensure you finish your ride even when the going gets tough.
