ROAD RACERS ON MULTIPLE FRONTS
The Tour of Catalonia in Spain took place a week ago and Cosmic Ultimate shoes were represented by Guillaume MARTIN (Cofidis) and Dorian GODON (AG2R). Both riders performed well for the rest of the season. Dorian GODON took 2 nice 7th places in the 1st and 6th stage sprints. Guillaume MARTIN, who has had a difficult start to the season due to several illnesses, finished in 27th place overall.
The LifePlus Wahoo girls were present at the Gant Wavelgem under very difficult weather conditions. The first girl in the team, Mariya NOVOLODSKAIA, took 22nd place in the sprint of the 2nd group.
Finally, this weekend, a new stage of the French road cup took place. The men's team St Michel-Mavic-Auber93 showed the orange and yellow colours very strongly. Nicolas DEBEAUMARCHE was the first rider to take part in the morning breakaway where 4 riders were gathered. At the 45th kilometre, he was alone in the lead for about 10 kilometres before being caught by the peloton. Then Théo DELACROIX attacks at the 25th kilometre. The multiple breakaways didn't have a chance to win and a bunch of sprints took place. Romain CARDIS, who has been in great shape in the last weeks, takes 14th place.
