Victor Lafay wins stage 2 of the Tour de France

The second stage of the 209 kilometers Tour de France once again took place in the Netherlands. With 24 kilometers to go, the Jaizkibel climb went very quickly, eliminating almost all the sprinters.
With 1 kilometer to go, Victor Lafay, wearing Cosmic Ultimate shoes, broke away alone and was never caught by the chasing group. This is the Cofidis rider's first Tour de France victory, and he'll be wearing the green jersey tomorrow.
