THE MOST RESISTANT WHEEL
After more than 20 years of history and success in DH, the Deemax universe is still a reference. It was therefore obvious to adapt our technology and know-how from this discipline to the e-bike.
This is why we have designed the strongest wheel on the market by widening and strengthening the rim profile. The increase of the number of spokes also ensures the solidity of the link between the rim and the hub and there are now 28 straight spokes of the same length at the front and the rear of this wheel.
Finally, our ID360 freewheel body is fully adapted to the E-Deemax range. Ultra-reliable, it also meets the different requirements of the E-Bike: motor power, torque strength and optimised battery life.
Our lightweight and low-friction double ratchet freewheel system offers a fast engagement angle. The guarantee of an explosive and instantaneous propulsion.

MAVIC STANDARD = 180KG
Since 1993, we have been testing our wheels in the test labs. As riders' practices evolve rapidly, our testing procedures are constantly improving to meet real-world needs and standards.
For our E-Deemax, we have adapted and elevated our laboratory and field-testing requirements, ensuring the rider gets the most reliable and robust wheel available.
Aware of the heavy and numerous constraints imposed by the e-MTB, we have increased the overall system weight (bike + rider) of our wheels. Today, all the models of the E-Deemax range are approved to support a maximum system weight of 180kg, against 150kg for the other MTB wheels of the Mavic range.
In order to tolerate such a weight, all our wheels are laboratory tested according to the ASTM classification and conform to the ISO 4210 standard.
Our test beds allow us to validate the E-Deemax by quickly simulating the equivalent of more than 3 years of riding in the most extreme conditions.
Resistance, resistance, resistance: this is the key word for the conception of the E-Deemax. To ensure the robustness of our wheels, E-Deemax wheels are subjected to shocks 20% higher than most standard tests. Our goal is simple: to push the limits of resistance in the laboratory to offer you wheels capable of absorbing all types of impacts and shocks.

PFP & UST TUBELESS
All the rims of the E-DEEMAX range are equipped with our Pinch Flat Protection & UST Tubeless technologies, guaranteeing total comfort and reliability.
With the PFP system, the enlarged contact surface with the tyre reduces the risk of punctures by 20% compared to standard rims.
The new PFP design allows for lower tubeless pressures for comfort and traction, without the risk of additional punctures.
This system responds to the high weight and increased driving forces of the e-MTB.
The Mavic standard for tubeless tyres not only improves traction, comfort and rolling resistance, but also reduces the risk of tyre defects.

FORE CONCEPT
To increase rim strength, Fore Mavic technology links the spokes directly to the lower rim bridge. Aluminium or carbon, both processes put an end to the drilling of the rim's upper bridge.
As the rim is naturally waterproof, the mounting of the tubeless tyre can be done without tapping. Thanks to the Fore concept, we can offer you the only true tubeless wheel.
This system allows you to easily change the spokes without dismounting the tyre and to save 30g on the overall weight of the wheel thanks to the absence of the rim base.

BLACK SHIELD
The matte Black Shield treatment gives your E-Deemax an incomparable finish. The double treatment of the rim will preserve it in case of impact, combining style and durability.
The resistance to stone and scratch impacts is twice as high as a standard rim (twice the life span). Your rim will remain completely black, no matter what you do or where you go.

INTER SPOKE MILLING (ISM)
This manufacturing process developed by Mavic consists of reducing the thickness of the rim between the spoke holes to obtain a light and strong rim without compromising the strength and solidity of the wheel.
Laboratory tests have shown that an ISM rim is 10% to 20% lighter than a standard rim.
Less weight means less inertia, less effort and more efficiency. Better shock absorption guarantees a smooth ride and improved battery life.
