If you’re the type of rider who welcomes winter, and you’re looking for added protection from cold, these bib tights are for you. Perfect for late fall, winter or early spring, it’s made for hardcore riders who aren’t afraid to keep training through the winter. Cosmic Thermo Bib Tights, updated version of our former Cosmic Elite Thermo Bib Tight, are designed to give the rider maximum comfort in cold and wet conditions.
Made of 2 different materials, these bib tights have been carefully reworked. The main fabric is a very technical one from our Italian supplier: four-way stretch, brushed back, with a high level of abrasion resistance, it provides soft leg support and freedom of movement. This fabric has also a fluorine free water repellent finish (the sustainable C0) and is easy to care. The knitting construction along with the brushed skin side gives insulation benefits uncommon for the performance stretch fabrics.
The second fabric: The bottom leg, which is very exposed to projections, is made of a stretch membraned fabric to repel water and dirt.
The tights feature our updated Ergo Contact insert made with a unique Ortholite® multilayer construction that offers plenty of support with minimal bulk. The chamy effectively absorbs shocks and vibrations while still giving you a close connection to the saddle. It's engineered for improved moisture management and flexibility to give you more freedom of movement.
The overall bib shape has a high-profile cut over the navel for maximum warmth while making sure riders won't overheat with a lower back construction.
The multi panel construction enables a precise fit and a special attention was made to move seams away from the back of the knees to increase comfort. Reflective details have been carefully located with a 360° visible reflective band strategically placed when the legs are moving the most, based from bio-mechanical studies on safety. Last but not least, the feature that cyclists love is the front zip. Making life easier to adjust the base layer underneath or very convenient for a bathroom break during the ride.
