Our aluminium road wheels are distinguishable by 3 main qualities: lightness, versatility and durability.

Our models are available in disc or rim versions. For the latter, the braking surfaces are specifically machined to ensure an ultra efficient bite. In dry or rainy weather, we guarantee the shortest braking distances.
OUR MISSION & HISTORY: THE KSYRIUM
The KSYRIUM has been a legend in the professional peloton since its release.
KSYRIUM has always represented the best of aluminium wheel technology. Born in 1999 at the same time as the Fore concept, the very first KSYRIUM became THE reference on the market and in the biggest events like the Tour de France. It was used by the best pros and the best teams: US POSTAL SERVICE (1999 - 2002), COFIDIS (2005), SAUNIER-DUVAL (2007), AG2R Prévoyance (2008)...
From the KSYRIUM SSC (1999) to the brand new wheel, the KSYRIUM 30 Disc and the famous KSYRIUM SL (2001), our aluminium wheels have crossed the ages by taking part in the greatest wins on the road.
WHEELS MADE IN FRANCE
Just like our carbon wheels, our aluminium range is designed and developed in France at our site in Annecy, the heart of the French Alps.
The rims are manufactured and machined in Saint Trivier-sur-Moignan (Ain) at our production centre. All our spokes and hubs are entirely manufactured in our European workshops where the assembly is also carried out, thus making the KSYRIUM a genuine "Made in Europe" wheel.
For us, this ensures quality and a reduced environmental impact.

ID360 Ratchet System Freewheel
INSTANT DRIVE 360
Present on all our Ksyrium wheels, the Instant Drive 360 is the brand new freewheel system designed and developed by Mavic.
Rigid and durable, its double ratchet mechanism guarantees faster engagement, offering the rider more direct acceleration and maximum power transfer at each relaunch.
Mavic has chosen to increase the thickness of the axle from 1.5mm to 2.5mm, guaranteeing 35% more rigidity than a traditional axle.
The ID360 is also designed to be compatible with all existing freewheel bodies: HG9, Micro Spline, SRAM XD...

INFINITY HUB
Light and designed to maximise your performance, our brand new Infinity Hub is present on the entire Ksyrium range. Introduced in 2020, the Infinity Hub optimizes the lateral stiffness of the wheel and guarantees a relationship with the spoke.
Flat or elliptical, all spokes are straight. Our hub offers unparalleled ease of repair and maintenance. The new spoking attachment has also been designed to increase the reliability and longevity of the wheel.

UNIVERSAL SYSTEM TUBELESS
UST TUBELESS
Our Tubeless UST (Universal System Tubeless) technology has been designed as a whole. To design the perfect tubeless system, we have taken into account the rim and tyre as a whole, offering a perfect harmony between the tyre bead and the rim hook.
Easy mounting and dismounting of the tyre, ease of maintenance and reliability are the advantages of this system and feeling on the road is much smoother. With UST Tubeless, you gain grip and comfort, get better performance while considerably reducing the risk of punctures.
If you normally use rim tape to ensure the tubeless system is watertight, then this system will knock 40g off compared to a traditional tubeless tyre assembly.
If your wheel is equipped with our FORE technology, you will save an additional 30g thanks to the absence of the rim tape!

FORE Technology
Present on our aluminium wheels to increase rim strength, Mavic's Fore technology links the spokes directly to the lower rim bridge. This process marks the end of the drilling of the rim's upper bridge.
As the rim is naturally watertight, the tubeless tyre can be mounted without taping. Thanks to Fore concept, we can offer you the only true tubeless wheel.
This system allows you to easily change the spokes without dismounting the tyre and saves 30g on the overall weight of the wheel thanks to the lack of rim tape.

Easy maintenance
Now, thanks to FORE technology, the spokes can be changed easily, without the need to dismantle the cassette or even the disc.
On the disc versions, the wheels have spokes of the same length at the front or at the rear, which will simplify the work in case of maintenance.
The spoke tension is also more evenly distrubuted and the spokes do not touch each other, therefore eliminating any risk of noise and reducing wear.

INTER SPOKE MILLING
ISM4D is only on the SL model. This manufacturing process developed by Mavic consists in reducing the thickness of the rim between the spoke holes to obtain a light and strong rim without compromising the strength and solidity of the wheel.
Laboratory tests have shown that an ISM rim is 10% to 20% lighter than a standard rim. Less weight means less inertia, less effort and more efficiency.
