Full carbon sole is laid up by hand with uni-directional carbon fiber then embedded with epoxy thermo resin for superlight weight, stiffness and power transfer. External heel-counter and memory foam liner offer a super secure heel hold. Matryx overlap upper keeps the foot stable for maximum power transfer and a snug, comfortable fit across all areas of the foot. Low-profile collar around the ankle offers maximum range of motion.

Made with our lightest carbon outsole for efficient climbing and acceleration. Matryx upper eliminates excess material, offering more support with less weight. Overall weight is less than 300g.

Two BOA® Fit System IP1 dials offer precision fit and micro-adjustability in 1mm increments, with a quick and easy release system. Minimalist rubber platform for maximum support with SPD pedals. Compatible with spikes.

The upper is designed with Matryx technology, a superlight and breathable material that’s five times more resistant to abrasion than most synthetic materials. It’s made with a weave of Polyamid and Kevlar yarns in the lacing zone for optimal support and durability. The upper is also fully coated to shed dirt and mud, and dry faster when it gets wet. Two BOA IP1 dials let you fine-tune the fit for comfortable foot support and maximum power transfer, and the totally redesigned sole is made with superlight and ultra-stiff unidirectional carbon fiber that’s embedded with an epoxy thermo resin. The fibers are laid up by hand and strategically positioned to optimize pedaling efficiency.

Energy Grip Terra Carbon SL Outsole

The lightest Mavic off-road outsole, with optimal stiffness, made by hand utilizing uni-directional carbon fiber which is embedded with epoxy thermo setting resin. The fibers are hand laid in the matrix according to the strain they will have to bear. The sole utilizes unidirectional carbon fiber allowing to create a performance cycling shoe with very specific strength characteristics based on stress points in cycling. Strategical rubber pads have been placed according to the pedal connection need.
