Tour de France Femmes 2023
The Tour de France 2023 took place from 07/23/2023 to 07/30/2023 from Clermont-Ferrand to Pau. Two teams represented the Mavic brand, St-Michel-Mavic-Auber93 and Lifeplus Wahoo, both equipped with SLR 32, 45 and 65 wheels, Cosmic Ultimate 45 Disc and lenticular.
On the first stages, with the favorite teams neutralizing them, it wasn't easy for our teams to show themselves at the front.
On the 4th stage between Cahors and Rodez, Célia LE MOUEL (St Michel-Mavic-Auber93) took the day's breakaway. The breakaway caught up in the final meters of the final climb, and Célia LE MOUEL fought hard to snatch a magnificent 8th place in her first Tour de France.
The following day, between Onêt-le-Château and Albi, a small finish saw Coralie DEMAY take 10th place. On the legendary Tourmalet stage, Ella WYLLIE (Lifeplus Wahoo) played a leading role, finishing just outside the TOP10 in 11th place.
On the final stage, a time trial in Pau, Coralie DEMAY set a very good time and came in 16th.
In the overall classification, Ella WYLLIE, in her first Tour de France, came 16th and 2nd in the best young rider classification. Coralie DEMAY, after a difficult start to the Tour, came 27th overall.
