The race started at 4350 meters altitude facing the famous Nepalese peak of Dhaulagiri. The weather conditions and snow level forced the organization to shorten the route, which was previously planned to set off at 5100 m altitude. Fabien Barel clocked a time of 29'25" to descend from 4350 m to 2600 m altitude, reaching an unreal average speed on this 100% single track route.
