With a time of 9 hours, 29 minutes and 4 seconds, triathlete Olivier Marceau won the Extreme-Man 226 event in Salou, Spain. This grueling race format features a 3.8km swim, 180km bike ride, and 42.2km run. On the hot and hilly course on the Mediterranean coast of Spain, Marceau proved that he was the strongest in a field of tough triathletes.

 

Marceau rode Tri Helium shoes and Cosmic Carbone Ultimate wheels on the long, hilly bike course. The course traversed 180km in a single loop, taking advantage of the outstanding roads in the hills above Salou.
