Mavic riders win National Championships across Europe

After a busy weekend of national championship races across the European continent, a big group of Mavic riders came out on top. From riders on Cosmic Carbone Ultimate wheels to riders wearing yellow Zxellium Ultimate and Huez shoes, it was a big validation for the racers, their teams, and their equipment sponsors.
After successful campaigns all spring, Philippe Gilbert (Omega Pharma-Lotto) and Peter Sagan (Liquigas-Cannondale) scored victory on CCU wheels in their respective national road races, in Belgium and Slovakia. And fully four riders wearing yellow shoes – Janez Brajkovic (RadioShack) of Slovenia, Christophe Kern (Europcar) of France, Edvald Boasson-Hagen (Team Sky) from Norway, and Rein Taaramae (Cofidis) in Estonia – won their national time trial championships. These six athletes will have the privilege of wearing their national championship jerseys for the next 12 months.
