24 h on track – Aigle (CH)

In November and for the fifth year running, Mavic’s internal cycling club members and friends gathered to enter a yearly 24 hours on the track challenge in Switzerland. This fun race is called “Around the world in 24h” and takes place on the velodrome at Centre Mondial du Cyclisme in Switzerland. This year, among the three Mavic teams racing, one finished first. Jean-Eude Demaret (Cofidis), Jean-Lou Paiani, Amaël Donnet (BikeKulture), Fabrice Gaydon and Jean-Pierre Mercat raced on the squad named Mavic-Comète and travelled a total distance of 1'085 km at a 45.21 km/h average speed to win the event overall.
